Learn to Build Your Accessible Website, Together
A practical, affordable path to a professional website for your Center for Independent Living
Most Centers for Independent Living operate on tight budgets. A professionally designed, accessible website can cost $15,000 to $50,000 — money that could otherwise support programs and advocacy. But an inaccessible or outdated website undermines your mission and may even expose you to legal risk.
That’s where we come in.

You’ll join a cohort of 10 CILs. Each organization gets a foundation to build on: a WordPress website preloaded with everything you need — proven plugins, a CIL-specific structure, and the Insi accessibility scanner built right in.
Ready to Get Started?
Cohorts are limited to 10 organizations to ensure everyone gets the attention and support they need. Sign up early to reserve your spot. The first cohort launches in January 2026.
Introducing the Website Redesign Bootcamp
ArcStone and Insi, in partnership with NCIL, are launching an 8-week cohort program designed specifically for CILs. Instead of paying for a custom website you can’t maintain, you’ll learn to build and manage your own professional, accessible WordPress site — alongside peer organizations facing the same challenges.
Here’s how it works:
Over 8 weeks, you’ll attend two sessions each week:
Tuesday (1.5 hours): Training on that week’s topic, from planning and content strategy to design, accessibility, and launch
Friday (1.5 hours): Office hours to ask questions, troubleshoot, and get hands-on help with your specific site
An accessibility expert from ArcStone — with over 20 years of WordPress experience — leads every session. You’ll learn from someone who’s been conducting accessibility audits and building WordPress sites since before accessibility was a buzzword.
By the end, you’ll have a website you’re proud of and the knowledge to keep it running and accessible long-term.
What’s Included:
Each organization that joins receives:
- Pre-configured WordPress website with CIL-specific structure
- Premium WordPress plugins (normally $500+ annually)
- One year of website hosting at ArcStone
- One year Insi license for ongoing accessibility monitoring
- 24 hours of expert-led training and office hours
- Up to 2 staff members can attend each session
- Peer learning with other CILs facing similar challenges
Investment: $5,000 — a fraction of the $15,000+ minimum cost of a professionally built accessible WordPress site, and you’ll have the skills to maintain it independently.
Why This Works:
Traditional website projects fail for predictable reasons: scope creep, missed deadlines, handoff problems, and teams left unable to maintain what they’ve been given. The bootcamp model solves these problems.
You’re learning by doing. Each week builds on the last. You’re not watching someone else work — you’re building your actual website with expert guidance.
You’re not alone. Other CILs are working through the same challenges. Share solutions, ask questions, learn from each other’s wins and stumbles.
You gain independence. When the bootcamp ends, you’re not dependent on a vendor for every change. You know how your site works and how to keep it accessible.
Who Should Join
This program is designed for CILs that:
Need a new website but can’t afford traditional agency pricing and want control over their content and updates
Can dedicate 3-4 hours per week for 8 weeks to the project and have at least one staff member who’s comfortable learning new technology (no coding required)
