Case Study
Look Good Feel Better called on ArcStone to modernize their digital presence and better support cancer patients seeking beauty workshops.

Look Good Feel Better is a national nonprofit organization that helps cancer patients manage appearance-related side effects of treatment through beauty workshops and resources. The organization provides both in-person and virtual workshops designed to help patients cope with the physical changes that accompany cancer treatment.
The organization focuses on serving cancer patients and works closely with healthcare professionals who recommend their services. Their programs are designed to address the challenges patients face during treatment, providing practical support and resources to help maintain confidence and well-being throughout the cancer journey.
Our Role
- Complete Rebranding & Logo Design
- WordPress Redesign & Development
- Salesforce Integration
- Accessibility Implementation (WCAG 2.2 AA)
- Content Migration (43+ pages)
- Staff Training & Support
The Challenge:
LGFB’s fragmented digital experience included an outdated website that didn’t meet accessibility standards, creating barriers for cancer patients who may have physical limitations or use assistive technologies. The disconnected virtual workshop registration system bypassed Salesforce entirely, creating administrative burden and missing critical opportunities for patient engagement tracking and follow-up support.
The registration process was particularly problematic, requiring real-time data synchronization, complex user workflows, and Spanish language support to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Brand visuals needed evolution to connect authentically with both cancer patients seeking support and healthcare professionals recommending services, while maintaining sensitivity to the emotional challenges faced by their audiences.

Our Approach
ArcStone provided comprehensive rebranding including a new logo and visual identity that reflected an inclusive, modern approach to cancer support services. The entire website was rebuilt using WordPress with Kadence blocks, prioritizing WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards to ensure the platform serves users with diverse needs and abilities.
The centerpiece of the project was developing custom Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWCs) to create seamless virtual workshop registration that integrated directly with existing systems. Key technical innovations included Lightning Out Architecture for increased reliability and reduced iframe dependencies, geolocation integration for automatic location detection in workshop search functionality, and dynamic time zone handling for real-time adjustment of workshop times based on user location. Over 43 pages of content were migrated and styled while staff received comprehensive training to manage ongoing updates independently.

Reviewing The Results
Look Good Feel Better now presents a modern, inclusive, and intuitive digital experience that serves both cancer patients and healthcare professionals effectively. The integrated Salesforce registration system eliminated administrative gaps while improving patient experience and data tracking, with the unified brand experience providing consistent, professional presentation across all touchpoints.
The accessible, mobile-first website better serves diverse audiences while the flexible content management system empowers staff to maintain and evolve their digital presence. Enhanced accessibility through full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance ensures the platform serves users with disabilities, while operational efficiency improvements eliminated platform gaps and streamlined internal workflows for virtual events and patient engagement tracking.
