The International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC-IAFD) is the premier professional association for the drilled shaft, anchored earth retention, and micropile industries. As a global leader serving contractors, associates, and technical affiliates worldwide, ADSC needed a digital platform that could match their industry authority while providing the tools their members need to connect, collaborate, and grow. The organization required a modern website that would strengthen member engagement, support non-dues revenue generation, and position ADSC for continued leadership in foundation drilling innovation.

Our Role

  • WordPress Redesign & Development
  • AMO Member Management Integration
  • Interactive Member Map Development
  • WooCommerce Integration
  • Kadence Block System Implementation
  • SEO & Accessibility Compliance (WCAG 2.2 AA)
  • Sponsorship Opportunity Enhancement
  • Technical Library Organization

The Challenge:

ADSC’s previous website failed to reflect their position as the global leader in foundation drilling. The outdated platform made it difficult for contractors, associates, and technical affiliates to find each other and connect with potential clients. Without effective tools for showcasing member expertise or facilitating industry connections, the site wasn’t serving the community it was built for.

Beyond member engagement challenges, ADSC struggled with limited sponsorship visibility and a disorganized technical library that made valuable industry resources hard to access. The organization needed a platform that could support non-dues revenue growth while providing staff with straightforward content management tools. Most importantly, they needed a website that positioned them as the industry authority they are while actually helping members grow their businesses.

Our Approach

We started with WordPress and the Kadence block system because ADSC’s team needed to own their content strategy without wrestling with complicated technology. The block-based approach meant creating repeatable patterns throughout the site that staff could use and adapt independently. This foundation gave ADSC the flexibility to evolve their digital presence as their organization grows.

The technical work focused on connections that matter. We integrated their AMO member management system so the website and member services work together rather than existing as separate silos. The centerpiece became an interactive map that pulls directly from member records, making it simple for anyone to find qualified contractors, associates, and technical affiliates by location. For the technical library, we implemented WooCommerce not just as a store but as an organized system that makes industry resources accessible while opening new revenue opportunities.

Every design and development decision centered on accessibility and mobile experience. Full WCAG compliance ensures that ADSC’s resources reach all industry professionals, while the mobile-first approach recognizes that many members access the site from job sites and field locations. We enhanced sponsorship features throughout the platform, creating visibility opportunities that support ADSC’s financial sustainability without compromising the member experience.

Reviewing The Results

ADSC now operates a modern, professional platform that appropriately represents their position as the global leader in foundation drilling. The AMO integration has streamlined member services while the interactive map has become a valuable tool for connecting industry professionals with potential clients. Enhanced sponsorship features support non-dues revenue growth, while the organized technical library provides members with easy access to essential industry resources. The Kadence block system enables ADSC staff to create and manage content independently using repeatable, reusable patterns throughout the site. Most importantly, the new platform positions ADSC to continue leading industry innovation while providing members with the tools and connections they need to succeed in the foundation drilling business.

22.6% Increase

Organic traffic grew from 1,800 to 2,200 monthly visitors, bringing more contractors and potential clients to ADSC’s member directory and technical resources.

130K Position Jump

ADSC’s Semrush rank improved by over 130,000 positions, dramatically increasing visibility for foundation drilling searches and establishing stronger industry authority.

Seamless Member Management

AMO integration eliminated the disconnect between public website and member services, enabling single sign-on access, automated member directory updates, and streamlined event registration that saves staff time while improving member experience.
