The Challenge:

The Rosenau Family Research Foundation faced multiple interconnected challenges that limited their ability to fulfill their mission effectively. Their outdated brand identity, inherited from The Legacy of Angels Foundation, no longer reflected their evolved mission or resonated with their target audiences of researchers, donors, and rare disease advocates. The foundation’s website failed to communicate their current priorities and lacked the modern functionality needed for effective donor engagement and researcher outreach. Perhaps most critically, the foundation operated within a small and somewhat insular researcher network, which significantly limited the visibility of grant opportunities and meant that promising research projects might never discover available funding. The limited digital storytelling capabilities further hampered fundraising efforts and community outreach, making it difficult to share compelling stories of research impact and donor contributions that drive philanthropic support. The organization needed a comprehensive digital transformation to unify their brand identity, expand their research network reach, and create sustainable systems for ongoing growth.
